Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 2026
Push Up Hero (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. We store a display name you provide for use within the app.
Workout data. We store the pushups you log, including count, type, date, and time. This data is used to display your progress, heatmaps, and challenge completion.
Device information. To send push notifications, we store your device token. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.
Usage and diagnostics. We use Sentry to capture errors and performance data to improve the app. This may include crash reports and performance data. We limit personal data collected where possible.
Product analytics. We use PostHog in the mobile app to understand how the app is used and to improve features. PostHog may process usage events, device and app version information, and related technical data. PostHog acts as our service provider. See posthog.com/privacy for PostHog’s practices.
Location information. With your permission, Push Up Hero collects your approximate location (city and country) to display your activity on the global feed and show where push ups are happening worldwide. Location is resolved to a city-level label and coordinates, then stored with your profile. You can revoke location access at any time through your device Settings. We do not track your location in the background.
